Bursting out of the South West of England, COBER MOUTH announced themselves in 2023.

Comprised of lifelong friends Adam Jones (Vocals) and Dylan Plenty (Drums), featuring the talents of Sam Windsor (Guitar), all 3 members of the band spent early years in Helston, Cornwall. Now based in Bristol, COBER MOUTH deliver colossal nu-metalcore grooves and riffs, cemented with biting vocals.

The trio’s 2024 release, Untethered, garnered strong critical acclaim with Alyx Holcombe championing the band with a Track of the Week award on BBC Radio One’s Introducing Rock. Metal Hammer also widely lauded the release, in addition to Alex Baker placing the band on heavy rotation for Kerrang! Fresh Blood. Their latest single, STERIDE, continued their success, earning more BBC Radio One coverage, as well as more airtime on Kerrang! Radio. As well as racking up extensive praise from industry tastemakers, COBER MOUTH have also amassed a hearty live reputation after undertaking a raft of sold-out shows with the likes of Heart of a Coward and Osiah.

COBER MOUTH are now ready for their next chapter in the shape of their brutal new double A-side, III: DARK AS IT GETS. The lead single, STERIDE, is a groove laden, uncompromising slab of nu-metalcore that is, as Alex Baker calls it: "off the charts". The single has received the backing of BBC Radio One, Primordial Radio, Kerrang! and Total Rock, with a
second single GUILTY WEIGHT out now.

“GUILTY WEIGHT returns closer to our metalcore roots, whilst retaining the frantic vocals and bombastic grooves from nu-metal influences. For me, this is the most unrelenting track we’ve created to date. When it isn’t being all out heavy or anthemic, it’s got you by the throat to whisper your failings in close quarters. This is the first major contribution we’ve had from Sam Windsor since he joined Cober Mouth – he had written an entire instrumental for the track before we completed it as a trio. I’m unbelievably excited to explore his sound and share it with everyone.” - Adam Jones

The unrelenting trio have live performances, festival appearances, and new content planned for the coming months. COBER MOUTH’s time is now.
